Implementing & Supporting Partners
Our network includes more than 60 partners for implementing FINISH Project & other sanitation programs across 10 states in India. Today the partnership pattern of FINISH is much more diversified as compared to the initial years. The number of FINISH partners has grown from 16 in the year 2011-12 to 60 at present. Our implement partners include Micro finance Institutions, NGOs, Foundations, Developmental Agencies, Co-operatives etc.
FINISH Society provides hand holding support in training and capacity building for implementing FINISH project to bring grass root level changes. FINISH Society implements a variety of programs for agencies such as UNICEF, World Vision, CII, Habitat for Humanity, World Toilet Organization etc. We have also partnered with some State Governments in directly implementing the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and leveraging financial assistance for the communities.
We have also partnered with many corporates in their corporate social responsibility initiatives to implement sanitation, hygiene, water & waste management related programs. Some of the partnership programs are with Hindustan Zinc Ltd, CAIRN India, Confederation of Indian Industries, SIMGAS, TAGIC etc

Step 1: Partner Pre- Qualification and Selection
- Operating as MFI or as NGO with SHG-Bank linkage programme or NGO working with TSC and savings of beneficiaries or cooperatives or CSR projects or any other financial institution.
- Interest in sanitation
- Size of operation, minimum size is 1 crore (INR 10,000,000) or delivering of 2,000 safe sanitation systems
- Compact geographical area of operation initially not exceeding two districts
- Experience of working in development projects
Note: Aspiring partners blacklisted by FIs or donor organizations need not apply.
Preferences will be given to:
- Organizations with prior experience in lending for sanitation.
- Credit rating organizations experienced in gender inclusive programme.
Step 2: First due diligence by PIT Team and on-site verification
Step 3: As part of the selection process all aspiring partners have to fill in a questionnaire
All aspiring partners need to conform to the Environmental Social Governance criteria. FINISH will not partner with entities that are systematically involved in:
- Violations of basic human rights standards.
- The most serious forms of child labor or forced labor.
- Serious forms of corruption.
- Serious forms of environmental contamination.
- Production of weapon systems of which the effects are disproportionate and that do not distinguish between military and civilian targets.
- Violations of generally-accepted ethical principles that apply in a humane civilization.
