Role:- Program Coordinator (Mother and Child Health)
Job Description: –
- Develop, coordinate, and oversee mother and child health programs, including prenatal and postnatal care, child immunization, nutrition, and early childhood development initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of services and integration of resources.
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of programs, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for healthcare workers, community health volunteers, and program staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in maternal and child health.
- Lead community outreach efforts to raise awareness of maternal and child health issues, promote health education, and encourage participation in health programs.
- Collect, analyze, and report program data to measure outcomes, identify trends, and support decision-making processes. Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage program budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure compliance with funding requirements and organizational policies.
- Advocate for policies and initiatives that support maternal and child health at local, regional, and national levels.
Experience:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maternal and child health, public health programs, or related areas. Experience in program management, including planning, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation. Experience working with NGOs, government agencies/ ICDS departments, or international organizations.
Qualification:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with having work experience in Public Health, Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Certification in Project Management or related areas, Knowledge of local health regulations, policies, and best practices.
Skills Required:-
- Analytical skills, usage of Computer Tools (Basic Microsoft Office needed for report/data preparations.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and build strong partnerships.
- Strong understanding of maternal and child health issues, healthcare systems, and community-based health interventions.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and basic English.
- Strong public speaking.
Location:- Ranjangaon, Pune, Maharashtra
Remuneration:- :- Between 19000/- Per Month TO INR 21000/- Per Month, Travel-as per organisation norms
