Job Description: –
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of Solid Waste Management (SWM) program in rural areas of Mainpat, Chhattisgarh. This includes ensuring that all activities meet quality standards, promoting hygiene awareness, and creating sustainable waste management systems in villages/wards
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Implementation
- Develop detailed work plans for SWM activities in institutions and villages,
- Ensure all programs are executed according to established timelines and budgets,
- Build and develop interactive specific IEC and BCC content for various stakeholders.
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Monitor project progress and prepare timely reports for donor.
- Conduct regular evaluation to assess the impact of the project deliverables.
- Participate in the quarterly audits by partner.
- Planning activities and preparing fortnight, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Coordinate with local government officials to promote sustainable waste management practices,
- Plan, coordinate and conduct trainings with Key stakeholders on ODF++, 0DF Sustainability, Solid and Liquid Waste Management,
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Maintain documentation and reports to demonstrate compliance with donor and regulatory requirements,
- Documentation of case studies/ success stories,
- Progress reporting (Behavior Change Communication, Infrastructure),
- Maintaining MIS Trackers.
- Team Leadership
- Manage a team of field staff and volunteers.
- Provide technical guidance and support to ensure effective project delivery
Experience:- 5/7 Years in Development Sector/ Corporate Sector on the areas of WASH, Waste Management, School Education, Skill Development, Training and Capacity Building.
Qualification:- Any Graduate/ Post Graduation (BSW/MSW, B.Tech (Civil), B.Sc/M.Sc (Environment Science))
Skills Required:- Documentation, Presentation, well versed with Microsoft Office tools
Location:- Mainpat, Chhattisgarh
Remuneration:- INR.30,000/- PM – INR.35,000/-PM. Travel-as per organisation norms.
