We are looking for a Project Officer – Solid & Liquid Waste Management (SLWM) to lead community-level waste management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, execution, and supervision of SLWM activities, along with strong community engagement skills.
1. Key roles and responsibilities
- Plan, facilitate and execute community/village level meetings
- Plan mass awareness campaign, IEC materials, rallies, school engagement plan etc
- Supervise, support and monitor supervisors, waste pickers and workers
- Form residential committees and maintain the records as per the standard format
- Take all reports from the supervisors and submit to the Project manager
- Ensure waste collection on the planned routes and follow ups etc
- Train & motivate waste pickers and supervisors
2. Qualification-
Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Social Sciences or Rural Development
3. Experience-
Experience of 3-4 Years in Development Sector/ Corporate Sector on the areas of WASH, Waste Management, School Education, Skill Development, Training and Capacity Building
4. Key Skills-
Documentation, Presentation, well versed with Microsoft Office tools
5. Remuneration-
2.30 to 2.55 Lakh per Annum.
